Around sunrise this morning we arrived in Daytona Florida. To our surprise it was a bit chilly and overcast. But the air smelled wonderful and the view......well these photos don't do it justice.
We have a nice view outside of our room of the beach. The waves are coming in strong. It's supposed to nicer over the next few days. I'm looking forward to some nice R&R.
This is a photo of a light house near by. It's really huge......I tried to zoom in a close as I could. It's the
Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse. I hope to get to explore it. Here's a photo of one of the many sand dunes along the beach. Also......you can drive on the beach....how cool is that!
